NATURAL ROSE QUARTZ AND AMETHYST HUMMING BIRD COUPLE

Hummingbird in amethyst and rose quartz on tourmaline base affixed to an acrylic base. The birds/animals are removable. A Peter Muller production, hand carved in Brazil. The beaks in the carnelian.  The height is 8.25 inches along with the base, and 4.25 x 4 inches is the size of the acrylic base. 

The birds fit into holes drilled in the quartz crystal with metal feet with prongs. 

Peter Muller's handmade pieces of birds are made of extensive assortments of naturally colored precious stones from all over the world based on only mineral species from Brazil. 

Peter Muller one of the brightest lapidary artists was born in 1952 in Lucerne, Switzerland. He lived in different countries and moved to Brazil in 1979. From the early 80s, he was carving animals and birds from precious stones and later opened a small lapidary workshop. 

Peter possesses a front-rank modern lapidary art workshop in Brazil, where he and his colleagues constantly strive to improve the quality of their creative works.
