IDOL: The miracles of a 7-year-old Lord Krishna's childhood and his innocence are revered in the form of Shrinathji. The principal shrine of Shrinathji is situated at the temple of Nathdwara, 48 km northeast of Udaipur. Shrinathji's idol was brought to Rajasthan from Govardhana near Vrindavan to protect it from the hands of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
